FEP FILM

FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) and PFA (Perfluoralkoxy) hold their shape under stress and high temperatures better than PTFE.  PFA has a temperature range of -320º F. to +500º F.  The PFA film is clearer than the FEP and has a higher temperature resistance. The FEP temperature range is -320º F. to +400º F.   The FEP film meets UL 94V0 for flammability but the PFA film does not.  The FEP film is FDA compliant.  Ideal applications for these fluoropolymers are 3D printers, tank and pump lining, UV applications and gasketing and mold release.  These materials offer excellent electrical insulation, chemical resistance, weatherability and low permeability.  Manufactured in the United States.
