These solid phase extraction (SPE) filters are designed to retain media used in solid phase extraction columns for laboratory and industrial chemical testing of various liquids. These frits are made from UHMW polyethylene copolymer, with an average pore size of 30 microns. They are available in the standard hydrophobic* and also hydrophilic** formulations which are designated by a “L” after the part number. These parts have a tolerance of ± .010″ on thickness / ± .050″ on diameter.
*Hydrophobic = Fear of water, repels water
**Hydrophilic = Filters water
