UHMW POROUS TUBE

As a leader in porous plastics, Genpore manufactures top-quality diffuser, aeration, and filtration tubes.  These tubes are made from UHMW (ultra-high molecular weight) polyethylene, PE copolymers, or polypropylene with average pore size from 5-200 microns.  Standard hydrophobic and hydrophilic formulations are available to accommodate your needs.  We can produce tubes from .250″ up to 30″ in diameter, and up to 8′ in length. The porous tube is strong at various wall thicknesses with the ability to withstand high levels of pressure.  Also, the plastic material is resistant to many chemicals and a wide range of temperatures.  Our specialized manufacturing processes allow us to maintain a homogeneous pore structure throughout the UHMW porous tube.  This provides you with greater consistency in your application.  Additional sizes and porosities are available upon request (Call 800-331-7724).  Note: The “L” after the part number signifies hydrophilic.  All hydrophilic treatment is surfactant-based.
